NEWS: angelfysh doing a Swimathon in aid of Marie Curie

Well I’d better dig out my swimming cozzie and start training as I’ve committed to doing a team Swimathon in aid of Marie Curie this April.

Our team captain is Heather Baxter of www.ge-ni.com who is organising everything and our other team members are:

We’re going for the 5000m team swim (1000m each) – which is 20 lengths each if it’s a 50 metre pool or (you’ve guessed it) 40 lengths (blimey) if it’s a 25 metre pool!

We each need to complete our 1000 metres before the other team member can do their swim.

If anyone would like to sponsor us, you can do so by visiting our team sponsor page here - our team fundraising target is £500.

Or you can sponsor my good self by visiting my individual sponsor page here – my own fundraising target is £200.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to read this… Marie Curie Cancer Care is a really worthy cause.

I’ll let you know how we get on.

Lisa
